Overall another great Lego product. With instructions clear enough for my 6 year old son to build it with almost no help. Only critisism is that when you try to float it in the bath, (well he is only 6) it's top heavy and immediately capsizes. The American version comes with a neat little battery operated motor pack which clips onto the bottom of the boat keeping it the right way up and powering it in water. Why don't we get this part over here? So overall a great model, but try to source the one with the motor.

This is a great model, simple to make and has some fun additions for the little ones to play with. BUT it doesn't float, well I should be exact: It doesn't float the right way up!. There seems to be a location fora metal weight on th bottom but this seems to be omited. I have ended up adding a small spanner and blue tack underneath to make it float the right way up in the bath for my five year old!

This took my 9 year old about 35 minutes to construct. Very good fun was had both in the construction and playing in the bath.
It even has a connection for a motor which is a must have if you want it in the bath and not to topple over too many times. If the crane hose is off center there is a certain amount of listing.
Buy the motor too but be prepared to take your wellies if you go to the boating lake and it gets stuck in the mud as ours did, I got very wet!

Excellent piece of kit
