This is a great set.It has a catapult that works very well, though the troll with the banner can fall over if it is standing up on carpet instead of a lego baseplate.The dwarve catapult wagon is very durable and does not break easily which is good. The Dwarve does not have a weapon unfortunately but the 1st trolls sword is really cool. I would recommend this set to anybody between the age of 7 - 11 and it would make a great present for any occasion. I think this set is great value for money(like I have already said) and I think I will continue to buy Lego Castle sets.

comes with quite good figures if you like lego castle
and its quite a simple model to make therefore good for young kids too.
Catapult will fire and also the blades at the front which move along!

Our 6 year old built this with a little help from his older brother. A fun set that fires 'rocks'. Goes well with the dwarf mine set. Also fits in with the older 'Knights Kingdom' lego that has been rebranded and updated to the 'Castle' range. It you child likes lego and castles, they should like this smaller lego set (86 pieces) Check out the lego website for full details and other sets in the range.
