LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is an Action-Adventure game set within the Batman universe, and filled with LEGO versions of heroes and villains from the Batman comic series, working together/against those from the Justice League comic series. The game is a standalone follow-up to 2008's Lego Batman, and features a wealth of heroes and villains, an engrossing storyline, in-game dialogue, classic LEGO video game play that includes a co-op support, family-friendly action and in-game gadgets, vehicles and super hero abilities.
This Limited Edition includes a mini build set with the exclusive Lex Luthor mini toy. This collectible character is not available in any Lego sets.
Join Forces to Save Gotham from Enemies United Against It
In Lego Batman 2: DC Super Hereos, calamity strikes as the Joker forms an alliance with Lex Luthor. The result is a uniting of the world's greatest villains from across the DC Comics universe, hell bent on tearing down Gotham City, brick by brick. Thankfully Batman and Robin are able to form their own unit for good with members of the Justice League. Additional heroes available in the game include Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and many more. The game contains light-hearted content featuring Batman flavored action, mixed with classic LEGO block gameplay. Players utilise a variety of vehicles including the Batmobile and Batwing, and must master a range of gadgets in order to triumph. True to the beloved LEGO video game play, Lego Batman 2: DC Super Hereos contains contains both single player and co-op gameplay options.

This is a great game, possibly the greatest Lego game ever, 50 playable characters, 23 Heroes, 27 Villains, 15 Levels, 250 Gold Bricks, 1 Hidden Level plus much more!!!
Pros:
Great characters
Ease of play
Great Vehicles
Massive Hub, all of Gotham city
Excellent 2-Player!!
The limited edition gives you an excellent little Lex Luthor toy which is well worth getting!!
Cons:
The Helicopters are terrible to drive, The Checkpoint races for the 3 Helicopters are awful, they don't seem to raise or lower and the checkpoints take ages to spawn and they're very hard to see!!!
The bonus level is very boring, you've got to collect 1,000,000 studs and it takes the best part of 1 hour to complete, you only get a single gold brick for it and the two vehicles they give you to drive in it are absolutely awful!!!!
There are 154 Gold Bricks hidden around Gotham City which is a huge amount and they take an age to get, they are dull and the autosave doesn't allow you to move until it's saved after every gold brick!!!!
Finally-SPOILER ALERT-They shouldn't have chosen Supergirl to be the last character to unlock, she's cool, but she has the same abilities as Superman!!

Bought this and got right into it. Two things to note straight away: 1) you do not get to experience Gotham City in true free play until you complete all 15 story levels, 2) You do not play as anyone other than Batman, Robin and Superman until right at the end of the story. I was expecting one or two of the other Justice League members to show up earlier than that.
This is essentially LEGO Batman 2: Batman & Superman.
It is not truly a DC Heroes game other than in free play and for a couple of levels at the end of the story.
The story itself makes sense but seems to wander when you first play through it as you are constantly waiting for the rest of the heroes to turn up.
Once you finish story it opens the game up MASSIVELY.
There are villains scattered across the city to defeat (which sometimes means just punching them three times but sometimes you need to do more). Once defeated you can buy them but you just don't get many studs in this game compared to how much these guys are to buy.
This leads to the problem with studs/red bricks. Red Bricks are no longer in levels and can be found hidden around the city.
The map feature shows where red bricks can be found but you will need certain villains to unlock them. However, you need lots of studs to buy villains in the first place and can't unlock the multiplier bricks to get extras until you have spent studs on the villains. I suggest saving your studs for as long as you can and then buying Riddler and Joker ASAP as these two open the red bricks.
In summary, my basic gripe with the game is the lack of direction. In previous LEGO games you knew that if you played a few levels in story mode you could soon revisit a few in free play when you had enough different characters (you could get everyone you needed in the Star Wars games within 4 or 5 levels). This would let you get red bricks in the levels and then hopefully start building up the multipliers so you could afford other stuff such as the red brick/minikit detectors.
In this game it looks like you could go looking for red bricks pretty early but you'd be disappointed as you don't just need to find them, you need to unlock them using villains first. You could go hunting for villains but you have to unlock comms panels to unlock/find the villains. Then you realise that you don't have enough studs because you can't get multipliers from playing story levels. Vicious circle unless you hoard studs from the start.
Once you do work it out it is genuinely tremendous fun but that is only after you've realised that there is a lack of structure and after you have realised that the other heroes are not in the story as much as the trailers suggested they would be.
PROS: Great Graphics, new characters, ability to fly, huge hub for free play, lots of different abilities, some cool new suits for Batman/Robin.
CONS: Disappointing story with too little use of other heroes, it's just too long before you truly get to play WITH the game rather than just play the game, poor logic re: red bricks and too long before you can unlock/afford them, odd system for unlocking villains, and finally, the dialogue is just not as funny as it should be considering they used real voices and wrote actual scripts.

Very funny!
Honestly I like videogames and comics, and I do like LEGO since I was a kid, and this is a great fusion of 'em. It was very funny playin' this game, take my advice and buy it!
