At 660 pieces, this model is just the right size for a Lego fan who doesn't have hours and hours to devote to an architecture set. Only 7x8" at the base when assembled, it makes a nice desk display without taking up all your work area. Great gift for the architects/engineers (or aspiring ones)ip in your life!
The pieces in this set do NOT come in "numbered" bags for module building; a little sorting will be needed prior to starting the build. The instructions are part of a lovely booklet with history of the house and the architect. The set is constructed in two floors, then assembled at the finish. Unlike some of the architecture sets, this one actually has nice detail in the lower floor plan of the house. There aren't any "specialty" Lego pieces in the set, but you do get a lot of transparent pieces to add to your collection.
Kids might not consider this a "fun" set, but its a great option for adults and kids to build together. Little kids can sort and snap the tiny pieces and the adults can supervise and take the credit at the end!
