Product Description

Product Description

Presenting the Big Ben Clock Tower, one of the world's most instantly recognizable landmarks. Standing at the northeast corner of the Palace of Westminster in London, England, the Big Ben Clock Tower was erected from 1843–1859 following a fire that burned down much of the original palace. The clock tower features classical design with a distinct gothic influence. The clockwork itself was designed by Edward John Dent shortly after construction of the tower began. This LEGO Architecture series interpretation of the Big Ben Clock Tower was designed by Slovenian architect Roc Z. Kobe in collaboration with the LEGO design team.

Box Contains

1 x interpretation of real-world architectural landmark

My 7 year old daughter enjoyed building this and following the instructions. A word of warning though, this item is very small. It's a mini big ben. See the customer image that I have uploaded for size comparison against an AA battery just so that you don't get any surprises when it arrives.

It's a nice product once made up but smaller than I expected and only took my 10 year old and hour to put together. Which makes it seem over expensive.

Nice pack. lots of different, specially made pieces. It came out a little smaller than I imagined when completed but still a good model. My son-in-law was pleased and that's what matters :-)

This is the second model I have purchased in the Lego Architecture range after being blown away by the White House set, I couldn't wait to get stuck into this one.
As usual, the quality speaks for itself, the box and manual are superb as you would expect from Lego.
The detail in Big Ben is brilliant, didn't take long to put together and looks great alongside my (to be) growing Architecture range of models.
I am a mad fan of Architecture and love the way Lego have produced a fantastic range for me to get my hands on!
On to the next one .... Imperial Hotel!
Very quickly delivered by Amazon - nicely packed! Good all round experience so I shall be back for the rest of the range!

Got this as a father's day present as something me and my 4 year old son could work on in advance of our trip to London.

It's been a great success - it's pretty straightforward to build - too complex for a 4 year old to easily follow the instructions, but easy enough that he can build it with an adult's direction, so works well as an activity to do together.

The model looks very nice, fair amount of detail, and completed looks like a good replication of the real thing. My other son (who is 2) also took great delight in destroying it - but both boys were delighted when they then got the chance to see the real thing.

Highly recommended.

I bought this for my new nephew who loves Lego and as we were going for a weekend in London I thought this would be a great present for him to remind him of the city, unfortunately a piece was missing at the beginning/bottom of the Big Ben so he had to make do, there were also extra pieces not relevant to this particular Lego, my nephews has loads and he follows the instructions to the letter, the thing is when one gives it to a child and he starts building it and pieces are missing it is difficult to pack it up and send it back because the child wants to get on with it
