Product Description

Built for the futuristic 1962 World’s Fair, the Seattle Space Needle dominates the city’s skyline with its characteristic “flying saucer” appearance. Constructed to withstand winds of up to 200 mph (321 kph) and earthquakes of up to 9.5 magnitudes, the Space Needle clearly demonstrates the strength of its unique tripod design. This stunning grey LEGO model, the fourth in the LEGO Architecture Landmark Series co-developed and designed by Adam Reed Tucker, captures the building’s “Race into Space” design at the height of the “Space Age”.

Bought for my 11 year old nephew who loved it. Fantastic detail on the finished article but it was smaller that I expected.

This is the first Lego product that I've had that requires cutting (hence the 4 stars), however as a series I'm a big fan.

This is a very nice item by lego. Very well thought out. There aren't a lot of pieces which is a shame...especially for its price.

My son received this as a gift for his 9th Birthday. A very disappointing product for the money it cost. It took him 5 mins to build and the finished piece is tiny. Definitely NOT worth the price! A real shame as he was so excited about it.

My 12 year old loves this range but Lego should seriously consider how much they price their products at. It is far too expensive.

My granddaughter loved it and it is sufficiently detailed that she was able to use the model as part of a school report on architecture.

I live in the Seattle area, so I do know whereof I speak!

A small model which did not involve much lego. Fiddly to assemble and some cutting was needed to complete. Accompanying brochure provided educational details and facts regarding the Space Needle. Buy if you are an architecture fan and you want it as part of the collection but not for lego build enthusiasts.
