my 8 year old got this for xmas, he has enjoyed making it by himself with easy to follow instructions. He loves construction toys and rates this one. he has been fascinated with the moving parts and how they work together. Relitively easy for him will look at something a bit bigger next time. Makes a nice vehicle to play with after but he personally seems to prefer the building of it.

My son adds lego technic to his birthday and xmas list every year. I just wish lego would make more models across the price ranges and considering how expensive these sets are i think they should always include the instructions to make the second model and not expect you to download them from the website!!!

My 12 year old son put this together quite quickly without any trouble and then went on to make the dune buggy. It has stayed as a dune buggy on the window sill since then. So - great to make and great to look at afterwards.
