What I like most about this LEGO set is just how real the T-Rex looks. There's a lot of detail for a kit that's quite small and it's a good weight, not flimsy. The T-Rex stands on his own and doesn't fall over. Easy to make with nice, chunky pieces and the instructions are simple but; if the kids are very young you're probably going to have to give them a hand. These LEGO sets aren't cheap when you compare them with a lot of other toys, but they're worth the money because they last forever, are a quality product and look so good my granddaughter won't let us dismantle T-Rex, he's still on the shelf above her bed.

I bought this Lego for my 4 1/2 year old grandson. He loves dinosaurs anyway, so was eager to make it. He needed help with the instructions, but they were easy to follow, and he soon knew how to pick the right pieces, and put them in the right place. It was a great success, and he is looking forward to coming and making one of the other creatures!

My little boy loves lego so these sets that have 3 things to make work really well for him. He is nearly 6 but has got the hang of building them with very little support from an adult. There is always the issue of them breaking apart and losing bits but we are happy to risk it.
