The Ultimate Collectors Millenniun Falcon edition is in short exactly what it says it is. The Falcon has always been the ultimate ship of the orginal Star Wars movies ... I've always wanted to build one, but never had enough bits! ... until now ...

Firstly it's not a toy and given the price, it's not something that an under 16 could necessarily afford. But .... it is the best Star Wars Lego set you can buy. The shear scale and attention to detail is brilliant -> the gun turrets, the engines, the surface details on every component, the cockpit etc.

The packaging and especially the coffee book instruction manual (a mere 300+ pages long) gives some indication of how long it takes to build. Being a seasoned engineer, and with suitable tea breaks, I managed this in under 18 hours. The number of parts is daunting, so you must sort first, and organise a large spaceship bulding yard, say the dining room table.

At 10 kg in weight, 82 cm long and 52 cm wide, you'll need to clear the coffee table as well to actually store it on.

In summary, being a grössekinder, I love this Lego Millennium Falcon!

p.s. keep the box and manual, it will be a collectors item.
p.p.s. can Lego please bring out an equivalently sized Star Destroyer as well?

Took me a week to build. Great fun, but back-breaking work. It's too big to display, so I wil probably build it again and again and again and...

So i bought this "star war" thing for my nephew as I had promised him one earlier this year, when I told him it was arriving he was extremely exited, given the price he had better be , so it arrived and my nephew started building it with my husband as I have no clue what it even is!!!! So they started making it and shortly found that a piece of the exterior was bent . We packed all up ready to replace it for a new one but one of the tiny pieces went missing so we could not give it Back . Now all I'm stuck with is some Lego and 4million pound less

Don't want to put this one together solo 30 Nov. 2013

Pretty cool Lego set, but completely unable to make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, so I was a bit disappointed.

No droids. 26 Dec. 2013
By Maz - Published on Amazon.com
Having purchased this item, it was shipped for manufacture to Alpha Centi5. However, no droids were included( a possible ploy to purchase some? ) and my (fledgling) Jeddi skills were exhaused when on Tatooine. I await assistance.

Lost and can't return it 4 Feb. 2014
By Boyd H. Johnson - Published on Amazon.com
When I received this and inspected it for damage it looked like the hyperdrive motivator may have been damaged. When I tapped on it to try to fix it the ship made the jump to lightspeed. I haven't seen it since!

On the fence 15 Jan. 2014
By Anthony30 - Published on Amazon.com
While putting this set together was satisfactory, I was disappointed to find out it doesn't vibrate or make noises so it didn't take me to a galaxy far, far away. I would have liked it had it included some ewoks to help me clean up the mess of the packaging and to make as my personal pets.
