Bought this for my 5.5 year old for Xmas...he adored it! Despite the age guidelines (7-12) my never stationary, short attention spanned, over excitable, typical 5 year old, sat still and built the set mostly alone...he's just getting into lego, and is obsessed with Cars 2 so this prooved to be a great purchase...it's the first time he's sat and built lego without calling for Mummy, heck he even opted to turn the TV off so he could concentrate better! What more can a Mum ask for?! The set has proven sturdy enough to withstand 3 days play (thus far) without having to be re-built (appart from a few Mater bits). Great buy!

This is an excellent toy for any young builder who can follow simple instructions. Once built it is a great toy to place with, giving my child hours of fun.
