This present wasn't for me but instead for my baby niece and it was her third birthday last weekend. When she unwrapped the present she wanted to open it automatically and once the party had died down a bit, together, we built the set (along with the Pooh Picnic set). She sat on my lap while we built it, and she did need a little help but that'll come with time. The colours which are used in this set a great; all bright and appealing and some of the bricks work really well. All the different alternate builds are also very good but the only problem I had with those was that there wasn't any instructions for them and so I had to build them by eye.
She loved the set and her christmas present from me will be the big house set.
Playability- 7/10- little minds will always have ideas and this set will just expand the imagination.
Design(s)- 10/10- all secure builds which wouln't break that easily.
Parts- 7/10- nothing amazing but the colours are all really nice + boat and fishing rods are really good!
Minifigures- 7/10- Piglet and Tiger are good.
Price- 7/10 I got the sets at £15. I think this was a fair price but anything more would of been too much.
Overall- 38/50- 76%- B+ lovely set which probably any child would love.

Really sweet set, bought for 2nd birthday as my daughter loves both Winnie the pooh and Duplo. Hours of fun. Only negative is the small amount of blocks for the money. Fine if you have a decent collection of other duplo like us but worth considering if this is your only set (might limit play potential).

This is the middle sixed of three sets of Duplo containing Winnie the Pooh figures. It enables a child to make a bridge, possibly for a game of pooh-sticks, and also has a canoe for extra play value. The most important part of the set is that it
contains a Tigger figure, which is many children's favourite, along with a Piglet figure. Disappointingly, though, there is no Winnie the Pooh figure. In order to have Pooh you either have to buy the smallet set, LEGO® DUPLO®Winnie the Pooh 5945 : Winnie's Picnic or invest in the largest set, LEGO® DUPLO®Winnie the Pooh 5947 : Winnie's House, which contains Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore (but frustratingly no Tigger!). However, ignoring the annoying ways companies get parents to part with their money does not mean that this is not a good toy. All the sets are good fun, well made as duplo toys always are and has great play value. My daughter loved Tigger's Expedition and the added bonus of familiar characters was very popular with her. A real winner and sure to be played with long after other toys are discarded.
