I loved exploring the various websites that are mentioned in this book. As a former reading recovery volunteer and a parent providing extra help to students at our local elementary school, I see the value of these sites which make learning reading, writing and math FUN and easy for kids. I would have loved knowing about these sites when I was volunteering!

There are plenty of ideas to keep kids engaged in their learning over the summer and to help them catch up if they're falling behind at any time during the school year. This is a great resource for homework help or just for extra practice of what is being taught at school.

The information in this book would be valuable to parents and grandparents, tutors, home-school leaders, elementary teachers, and English as a Second Language teachers.

Overall, the book is a great value for the price and I love the fact that all the websites recommended in the book are FREE!

This is such a helpful, practical resource! All students will need help understanding different school subjects, or topics within these subjects. This book provides 30 free online websites that can help your children with reading, writing, and math. These websites have fun and refreshing ways of teaching children subjects that may not always seem so fun to them in the classroom. The resources provided within the book are very child-oriented and offer different ways to teach children school content in a fun, stress-free manner!

This is an excellent resource for kids who are reluctant to actually learn. It hightlights websites that are fun and engaging for kids - and not just sites that parents think are fun and engaging...kids were asked what they thought of these sites, too! There are a variety of sites here that appeal to a broad range of ages. You could be 3 or 13 and still find some sites here that help you learn, but are fun.

WOW - my niece is going into grade 5; and last year she struggled a little bit with some of her reading and math skills. She is enjoying working on some of these websites - Owl Kids and National Geographic for Kids are her newest favourites.

As a Teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed browsing through all of the different activities and resources this guide has to offer. Whether you are looking for activities to supplement lessons, extend lessons or provide students with extra practice, this resource has it all. From games to online storybooks, I love the diversity that these free learning websites provide for Reading, Writing, Math and Science support. "Learnzilla" is extremely well organized, which makes locating appropriate activities a breeze. This will definitely be a well-used resource in my teacher tool-kit. I would strongly recommend "Learnzilla" to fellow teachers, or to parents who are looking to further support their children's learning at home! A big five stars!

LEARNZILLA Has be a helpful and fun tool that has given me the tools I need to boost my children's essential skills without making it seem like a chore. This has been a great resource that has helped keep my children learning, practicing and improving all summer long. Best part is it focuses on reading writing and math!
