mattress makes the cot a lot more comfortable to sleep on also makes it easier lifting the baby in and out of cot as you don't have to bend so far down into the cot.

this is a beautiful mattress, the thickness of the product ensures you do not have to bend over very low when laying baby into bed. beautiful materials used.... soft, comfortable, easy-wipe if necessary,with zip-off cover, i would highly recommend this product - excellent!

The mattress arrived promptly and well wrapped, I was particularly relieved to see that it complied with British Standards etc as this wasn't mentioned on the description. It's ideal for using in our travel cot, as our little one will be sleeping in it till we move and can put her in her cotbed.
