The problem with these pegs is that while they peg down the weed control fabric effectively they are very brittle. About 50% of them break when you bash them in with a mallet. Great if they don't break, but a pretty wasteful process.

pegging netting down in the allotment can be difficult. The traditionally shaped pegs work ok but in a strong wind they often fail; these seem very 'sticky'- they held the netting down on my strawberry patch last week whilst other pegs over my cabbages gave up!
