Product Description

LAMY tri pen colours

LAMY tri pen – Brilliantly versatile.

As beautiful as it is practical: the LAMY tri pen. You have a ballpoint pen, mechanical pencil and a marker all in one writing instrument – and your work under control in no time at all.

Flexibility and mobility have become key terms in our modern working world. And the number of people who no longer work at one fixed place, but who move from project to project is growing. In changing teams and often in different towns and cities.

And their writing instruments? Ideally, they come from Lamy, are called the LAMY twin pen, LAMY tri pen or LAMY4pen and with these illustrative names signal that behind their slim shapes there is more concealed than just a ballpoint pen or a
propelling pencil.

They are particularly high-quality multi-system writing instruments, a speciality of Lamy, so that, wherever you are, at whatever time, you will always have the right writing system to hand.

I love Lamy build quality and refills for writing and drawing etc. but I purchase a malfunction pen so I only have to carry one pen with me instead of 3!!!, this being said it would be a great pen if I could select the nib to be retracted when its not in use, because this isn't possible with this model I cant carry it in my pocket without the risk of stabbing or inking myself :-(

If you keep your pens on your desk or in a draw then it'll be great for you. just not 'functional' enough for me

I am a big fan of lamy pens, and have had a twin pen for a long time that is one of my favourites for work. It is a different style, and I thought this was going to be the same thing but with three options, however I was bit disappointed. The middle option just doesn't lock as firmly in place as I'd expect, which may be a failing of the tri pens in general, but it doesn't affect the twin I have.

While there is nothing actually wrong with it, it's an excellent pen, it just isn't what I was expecting, I think I'd probably go for the cp version rather than this st one if I was ordering again, as that appears to be the new version of the twin I already have, and this just doesn't feel and look as slick, the clip on this one feel a bit flimsy and isn't the trademark sprung lamy one.

Also, while the lamy m21 mini ballpoint refills are better than the generic ones you'd find in a supermarket, they aren't the best available, it's worth replacing them with a gel or hybrid refill if you want this to write really smoothly.

Great pen - I use it for Fire investigation purposes and it means I don't have to carry three pens/pencils to do it.

Writes well. Has a good weight to it and is simple to use. Can't quite figure out how the ink refills can be changed though and the Lamy website doesn't really help. Had it for 3 or 4 months now and haven't had to change the ink. Suppose I'll have to find a shop that sells them and ask for help!

I have just written a good review of my my Lamy tricolour pen. Unfortunately, the computer changed the star rating so this is added. My pen is marvellous and fulfils all my expectations.it is stylish, has a pencil/ rubber and 2 inks and writes beautifully.

Love these pens/pencil. I had one many years ago and struggled to find one until now!! Well worth the money - a great gift idea too as they are practical - who couldn't use one of these?
