Product Description
Tap water is safe to drink because it is regulated and controlled by the local water authorities. Nevertheless pipelines, some of which are old and obsolete, may release undesirable substances. These, together with the chlorine, which prevents bacteria growth, may affect the appearance and taste of the tap water.
Filtered water using a jug and cartridge system has been drunk daily in Europe for more than 30 years, by approximately 50 million people.
The most practical and cost effective way to filter water and reduce limescale, chlorine, lead, zinc, copper, some pesticides and herbicides, whilst maintaining the essential elements such as calcium and magnesium, giving water an excellent taste and appearance, is to use a LAICA water filtering system with jug and cartridge.

The key part of the system is the cartridge. It contains activated carbon and ion-exchange resin which are very effective in reducing undesirable substances in tap water.

Works just as well as Brita Maxtra but you can't recycle the filters.,

The price is excellent and the filters work just as well as the Brita Maxtra ones. I got back to Brita because the Laica filters cannot be recycled, whereas the Brita can.

Good alternative to Brita Maxtra filters , better price & as good if not better quality . will buy again . recommended .

I was a bit worried about using these i have always used Brita but hard times i looked around and found these Laica.
Only used one at the moment and no problems excellent fit water tastes all right it does the job.
