Excellent - I have all economy bulbs around the house now, and I just needed to replace the bathroom light which used old bulbs
Only thing neither of us like about economy bulbs is that they flicker start and very dim until they been on for a while - This lamp has 'D' shaped tube in it and surprise, surprise - it comes on instantly (no flicker) and it's very bright right from the start
It comes with 28 watt bulb so i ordered a 55 watt replacement thinking it wouldn't be bright enough but i need not have worried - in fact never used the extra bulb at all

I couldn't find these lamps locally so Amazon provided the goods, as they almost always do. This is an attractive, neat lamp with decent light output. It was easy to fir and it was easy to replace an element, three thumb-screws to undo. I needed a warm fluorescent, my previous fitting gave a very cold light - so remember to ask for the right fitting.
