This is an essential read for the Lowry fan. Shelly Rhodes has delved into every corner to research this book. The book carries a life story of someone who tried to keep his two secret lives apart. The rent collector and clark Vs The Artist.

He lead the galleries a merry dance, all looking for a few painting in his will, they courted him in his old age. A outstanding look at L.S.Lowry. Packed with the most detailed information any art lover could ever want on Britain's most famous artist. A truly great read. I tip my hat to Ms. Rohde for her detail and dedication.
