This book is a great introduction for those who are beginners and want to get into lace crochet. The book has many small projects for various parts of the home, mostly doilies and storage based usages, but nevertheless the patterns are very attractive, and great for around the house. The book comes with a few pages on basic crochet techniques, and a section with photos and step to step instructions on how to make your first doily! All the patterns are chart based and very easy to read. A recommendation for a basic introduction to crochet and making lacey type projects.

if this book is for you you'll adore it and want to make everything! if its a gift, then the receiver will be your friend forever! its full of useable lovely items that look very professional and an extensive 'how to' section with tips and finishing ideas.

You'll find many very sweet patterns in this book, although they remind me very much of English crochet books from the 70s - just with fresher colours! The projects have a definite vintage/thrift style, and there are three pattern sections: 'small crafts for interiors', 'private time for favorite handicrafts' and 'fashionable items for everyday life'.
It's twee but lovely, with very clear instructions and illustrations for the beginner - as with most lace crochet, it looks much more difficult than it is. And of course all the colours and pictures are the epitomy of gentle prettiness! Great weekend projects.

fast and easy
I was so happy to receive this item, I got it earlier than I expected and it is in perfect conditions, it has got lots of useful stuff for begginers and very inspiring patterns!
