I bought this knife just as an experimental tool into my kitchen.. Now I use it all the time. When you first look at it, you expect it to be everything but not durable and sharp, yet when you first cut something with this knife you realize how solid and scary sharp it is. Working with this ceramic knife, gives whole new meaning for cutting.

It's a knife made from some kind of ceramic material and is very sharp, it's supposed to remain sharp for much longer but we've only had it for a few weeks so that remains to be seen.
The drawback with this kind of item is that when it does eventually need sharpening the sharpening device is about �60!

The knife was exactly what I expected, did not realise how good it was when used correctly, it was as sharpe as described make cutting and chopping so much quicker.
