Beautiful situation comic,

One of the best gay comics, Kyle's B&B revolves around the lives of five friends, Kyle, the doiecreet owner with a past, the outgoing Richard, the closerted jock Brad, the upwardly mobile Lance and young Eduardo, a latino boy expelled from home in search of a decent job. Thir lives, loves and those of their friends are narrated in a witty, down-to heart style, whilst serious, controversial issues like gay parenting are addressed in a sensible manner. You'll love tose lads, and their antics. graphically the style enhances male beauty in a very pleasant manner. I recommend it!

A Hilarious Slice of Gay Life,

Greg Fox's "Kyle's Bed and Breakfast" is one of the best comics in the gay press today, and here he collects the first few years of his strip detailing the interactions and adventures of a collection of residents of a Long Island bed and breakfast. Using a multiple panel format familiar to Sunday comics readers, Fox breaks apart stereotypes as he chronicles the lives of characters with very divergent personalities. Because the strip appears every other week, each strip stands alone but can arc through a single storyline in several episodes. It is nice to have this collection and to be able to sit down to discover how his characters became fleshed out over the past few years. The strips may not be ground breaking but they are wildly entertaining, giving you people you may find yourself caring about. A comfortable place to relax and enjoy gay America.

Couldn't Put It Down,

Been a fan of the comic strip for a few years. Have been waiting for a while to see the strips in complilation form. This book did not disappoint. Has the first 112 episodes, which covers the whole first five years of the strip, 1998-2003. The additional material is first-rate, a couple of additional never-published-before episodes and a lot of bio info about creator Greg Fox. Really liked the various promo pics of the strip's characters throughout the bio area. And the detailed floorplan of the B&B house is magnificent! This is a steal at the low selling price. I know what I'm buying as Christmas gifts this year!

This book collects the early episodes of the online gay comic strip soap opera KYLE'S BED AND BREAKFAST. Greg Fox is a tremendously talented artist and writer. The characters in this series are just like people one may know in real life. I highly recommend the book and would rate it 10 stars if it were possible to do so.
