I have bought other Clinical Medicine books but this weighty one is by far the most comprehensive and an excellent reference book. I wish I had it before I handed in an assignment on hypertension recently as I would have had a better overview to start my research.
The only thing is that is a concern is the student on-line code for the resources linked with book I bought on Amazon doesn't work. I contacted the company and they replied very prompty however I still am unable to get access.

If you are going to get one book on general medicine then get this one. It is excellent. Great onloine features mean you can print things out, great for assignements and revision. Obviously best to get the latest version (this one is 2009) to stay up to date with disease management etc. Highly recommended!

An essential for all medical students
This book really is an essential for all medical students. It gives just the right amount of detail and covers a wide area of clinical areas. Very much recommended!
