The lid is easily removable for cleaning and filling and has a ‘stay-cool’ plastic covering. The boiling signal is a pleasant whistle and it also features a patented practical auto-pouring spout – the spout is opened when you lift the kettle using the handle – so just lift the kettle up and the spout is opened automatically leaving you free to make a fresh cup of tea or coffee or add boiled water to recipes. Dishwasher safe and guaranteed for 10 years.

Super Swiss innovation and quality! The item reached me in immaculate condition. Even the box was exquisitely posh and cleverly made. The Whistling Kettle gleamed with pure Stainless Steel characteristics and solidness. I was even more impressed with the design and inventiveness of the handle, which is a unique patent of (Kuhn Rikon). When boiling point is reached, the spout Whistles alerting you to attention. once you lift the handle, the spout flips open allowing easy pouring. As soon as you place it the handle returns to it's normal position. it boasts quick boiling, due to its solid base and cool handle. It is a real joy to use :-)
