With the revolutionary self-attaching design of our Auto Safety Lid Lifter, you are now able to open cans in a clean, safe and fun way.
With this handy red kitchen gadget you can take the strain out of opening cans. All you need to do is place the opener on the can and begin turning the comfortable knob. The ingenious tool automatically locks in place and the stainless steel mechanism cuts from the side leaving a completely smooth rim, not sharp or jagged. The tiny, strong jaws on the side of the opener remove the lid. Press down on the white button to close the jaws on the lid and when you are ready to drop the lid into the bin or recycling container, just release the button. So you don’t touch the food, the food doesn’t touch the opener and there’s no danger of contamination. You don’t even need to wash it after use as it never comes into contact with the food inside the can – you could go from opening dog food straight to a can of tuna.
To make sure you get the hang of it, there are full instructions on the packaging and a handy set of detachable instructions you can keep in the drawer for visitors.

Having struggled with cheap openers for years and constantly having to replace them, I decided to splash out and buy one of these. It works brilliantly and is very easy to use. I really like the fact that the tins have no sharp edges. At first I thought the little pincers were a waste of time as I was removing the lids by hand quite easily but now I use them all the time. I would highly recommend this opener.

When my trusty T****o can opener died I was broken hearted. I had had it for years and it uncomplainingly opened every type of can, always took the lid off cleanly and even bent the edges over so I didn't slice my fingers even left a little lip so I could pop the lid back on again). One day it just broke in my hands. I must have tried twenty different ones to try to replace it. Reading all the glowing reviews, Ithought this one was a worthy successor. How wrong I was! Hard to use, I finally mastered the knack only to watch it getting blunter and blunter over the months. Now only my husband can work it , using brute force and I am searching again!

I had high hopes for this can opener only to have them dashed.
I cannot get it to open a can, I even had my husband try it in

Best way to open tins.
