When i first heard about the film I was intriged because it starred my fave actors. I bought the CD and instantly fell in love with all of the songs. the vocalists really capture the essence of each song, whether its a love song (kuch kuch hota hai) or a happy song (ladka hai deewana). definately worth the money.

I heard the theme song "kuch kuch hota hai" on the radio and fell in love with it! Then after getting the CD, I realised that all the songs were great, and I listen to them constantly....definitely the best music form the best Indian movie!

My family don't understand why I brought this CD because I'm Latina but I'm a fan of KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI and I had to have the soundtrack. I even know how to sing the songs. The music is worth every moment of the movie that it makes me want to see it all over again.
Love it! 30 Nov 2012

I love the movie and its soundtrack with the title song being my very favorite. The other songs are just as lovely too.
Some of these songs are still favorites of mine 15 April 2011

A wonderful CD from an endearing movie. The soundtrack covers songs sung by the best of the best Bollywood singers of the 90s, including Alka Yagnik, Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, and Udit Narayan. For me, the music was a big part of what made the movie entertaining, and listening to the songs allows me to enjoy the movie all over again (in a way) without having to sit through the 3-hour movie again.

I own this CD and even now, over a decade after the movie's release, it remains one of my favorite movie soundtracks of all time. I would recommend it to fans of Bollywood music from any era.

The CD does not have all the songs that were sung in the movie. The CD case had to be thrown away as the inlay was incorrectly manufactured and it was not holding the CD in place.
The CD itself is an indian originating CD which costs only INR125 !! that is less than 50% what I was charged for. If I knew I would be buying an CD for the price of INR125, I would have gone to the Indian grocery store and buy a cheap copy for 2$
