I wasn't expecting much when I sat down to watch this film, it was a musical and i had to read subtitles. I had never seen a Bollywood film before and had never had to read subtitles before so this was a new experience for me.

It's slightly slow to start but after awhile of getting used to the actors and reading the subtitles I really got into it. The dance scenes are spectacular and take your breath away. The music though not in a language I can understand swept me into a dream world i didn't want to end.

At times in the film the acting may seem slightly off but the music and the wonderful dance moves out weigh this by far. After about half an hour of watching you fall in love with the characters and don't want the film to end.

It's a great film and definitely an experience I shall never forget. If you're thinking of buying this film, buy it!

The music is great, the characters and their humour is fabulous. Without a doubt, this has become my favouite Bollywood film. A good film to watch as a first Bollywood experience.
