Simply the best coffee machine, 4 Mar 2005
This review is from: Krups Cafe Presso F9364138 Crematic Coffee Centre, Grey (Kitchen & Home)
I've been using this model for over 3 years now. The dual function is truely worth it for that quick expresso hit in the morning or the drip coffee for a full 10 person dinner party.
The German Krups are a solid & reliable manufacturer. When you take it out the box, the sturdy quality build will put a smile on your face.
I use the machine 3 times a day & it is still in excellent working order & has never let me down. (over 1300 pots of coffee / 2600 expresso shots).
15bar pressure is ideal for expresso - this is what you pay for. Anything less than this will always yield poor 'crema' and bitter results.
This machine is so good that my parents / sister /friends have been persuaded to get one - all think the same as myself.
I originally paid 130 GBP for this in a sale - so grab yourself a bargain! You wont be disappointed.

Great coffee, 31 Mar 2005
This review is from: Krups Cafe Presso F9364138 Crematic Coffee Centre, Grey (Kitchen & Home)
This makes great coffee, but, because the top lifts up to fill up the water you need quite a bit of clearance, so you can't keep it on the counter underneath a wall cupboard very easily.
Also the milk frother hasn't lasted very well, it doesn't seem to work as well as it did when I first got it.
But, I still love the coffee and haven't bought a espresso since.
