Having myself a large collection of crime books in my library and most of the books written about the Kray Twins, I was first apprehensive when I heard another book on the Kray Firm was being released. I mean really what else is there be told that has not already been said about these infamous brothers.... But knowing the authors personally I thought I would give it a try, and I was glad that I did. The first difference you notice with this book compared to the other Kray books is the size of it, never have I seen a publication this large written on the Twins before and I found myself intrigued and pleasantly surprised when I first flicked through the pages of this limited edition book. It was cram packed with photographs, letters, art work, and a whole host of other images of rare Kray memorabilia, which mostly come from the private collections of both Steven Wraith and Wayne Lear. This gives the reader an insight into the inner workings of all three Kray Brothers. For me personally it was the letters that I found most fascinating. Reggie, Ronnie and Charlie are all equally represented and it is truly fascinating to compare their writing styles and personalities through this montage of private correspondence rarely seen. Any criminologist or Kray fan will find themselves engrossed in this book and it would be criminal of me to go into more detail on the contents of `The Krays from the Cradle to the Grave' any further, so instead if you have to beg, steal or borrow a copy.... In fact No! Just buy it, you will not be disappointed!

I managed to pick up a signed copy of this by the 3 authors which also came with an original Ron funeral card.

The book is full of rare documentation never seen before by the public and really does give an insight into the brothers, Charlie is also heavily featured.

This is a must own for anybody who has an interest in the Krays, East London or Crime in general.

Worth every penny.
