I have owned two pairs of these: the second pair were a replacement for the first, which stopped working after some two months.
The second pair lasted three months - then yesterday they stopped working.
The malfunction was the same as the first pair: audio in one ear, but if you rotate and fiddle with the jack, you might get audio in the other ear, too.
The sad thing is, I went with Koss because they were meant to be a reputable earphone maker, and might be better than Sennheiser, or Sony, or Panasonic. They've turned out to be worse - which is a shame, because they have good sound quality...
Avoid.

I chose these as I have trouble keeping regular in-ear earphones actually in my ears - just turning my head can cause some to whip some out. I'd never heard of Koss before and only found the brand whilst looking through ratings and reviews on the US Amazom.com site.
I bought these in February (2011) and so far I think they're excellent. The in-ear pads hold on well, even in strong winds and the wire has a rubbery feel which I kinda like. I use them with a little sansa clip+ and think they sound great for the money (I paid £11.80) with no noticable 'sound bleed' - so nobody else has to listen to what I'm enjoying.
What isn't mentioned in the product description is that they have a slidey volume control about halfway along the wire, come with an extra pair of foam pads and a rubber pair and come with a white carry pouch which I can just about squeeze my clip and phones in when not using them.

These earbuds are astonishingly good value for their bass response and excellent noise isolation.
If you trim the foam pads properly and fit them right into your ear you will hear deep bass that you didn't know existed on many tracks.
When I mean deep bass, I don't mean the "humped" or "muffled" bass response curve that many earbuds give, I mean *really* stretching down to sub-sonic frequencies. Sometimes I can't believe the sound is through my ears and assume the ground is shaking.
For me this deep bass response is really important, your view may be different.
I have compared these with loads of other earbuds, (including Sennheiser, Creative, etc) and always come back to these.
BTW, I use these with a Sansa Fuze player which has a better low-frequency response than most other players (including most ipods).

Very good value for the money
I have used more expensive ear phones, but they always fall out of your ear, these how ever stay in and give a good seal, and the sound quality is very, very good. Read more
