Product Description

Rolling Stone

In attack and distemper, Korn have the...hip-hop, amp-death aesthetic down to perfection. Prepare to eat schrapnel -- whether you like it or nor- --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Book Description

Korn have been at the forefront of the nu-metal scene since 1994, when they burst out of Bakersfield, California, with their self-titled debut album, revolutionising music by mixing musical styles as diverse as 70s funk, heavy metal, rap and traditional rock resulting in a sound that was utterly new. Since then David, Munky, Fieldy, Head and Jonathan have released three more albums, toured extensively and shocked Middle America with their controversial subject matter and graphic lyrics. This book gives fans the inside scoop on the band everybody, from parents to politicians, loves to hate, featuring exclusive interviews with the band and their loved ones. Korn: Life in the Pit charts the rise of these five exceptional musicians from humble beginnings to MTV darlings, and the many highs and lows along the way. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Ummm , a book? 6 Aug 2001
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
Well i'm not well into books and this is the first one i've ever bought of Amazon . I'm a big fan of Korn and love Jon , Fieldy , Head , David and Munky . As i am a big Korn fan i knew most of the stuff in this book so parts of it was like old news (a bit boring) . If you're just getting into Korn then it is good as it has lots of info on the band . What would be better than settling down with a good Korn book ? (seeing them live ).

One Hell of a Band Get's one Hell of a Book 1 Aug 2000
By Nick - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is very imformative about Korn and it's members, from the early years of LADP, and SexArt, all the way up to the latest of them all, Issues. I highly recommend this book to the folks wanting to know where Korn is really comming from. Find out the pain Jonathon went through, and how much they like Jager. The informative abstracts from interviews make it more of a personal acount on the boys part, instead of the writer's. I hope every Korn fan will buy this book, it is worth every cent you pay. You also get some awsome pictures I've never seen of these dudes. But the real question is: "R U Ready"?
