By Mike H.
The scope itself is reasonably compact and has a rubberised outer finish. It comes supplied with a soft carry case and small tripod - although it is a standard fitting so other tripods can be used. My only real criticism is that the focus ring isn't very free and can therefore shake the scope slightly while trying to focus on objects over a greater distance (even when using a tripod).

However if you're just looking for a budget spotting scope this will work nicely. Although the lenses are not of the highest quality and are not coated, it is perfectly adequate and provides a clear view even at the longest range. I personally bought this scope for spotting arrows at long distances during target archery - for my first use of the scope I had it pointed at a target 90m away and was able to easily spot the ends of my arrows, which are less than a centimeter in diameter.

Spotting Scope 11 Nov 2008
Excellent product and great price.

Performance of the scope is really good & easy to set up & use.

Comes with carrying case and tripod. For the price I would highly reccomend the product and retailer Netgadgets, A bargain.

Delivery from Netgadgets was extra quick, only a couple of days and arriving so quickly it actually took me by surprise, well within the Amazon guidelines

Good value for money! 6 July 2009
I purchased this scope to place in my bay window overlooking the sea to see if I could spot dolphins and porpoises. Great clear view and zoom for the money, just ideal for what I wanted it for, just need a taller tripod now as difficult to hold still enough to view when on full zoom. The small tripod it comes with would be ideal if you had a small table in the window or for outdoor use when bird spotting I guess.
Only downside is one of the internal lenses seems to have dislodged so not that robust.
