Great value for money!, 20 May 2003
This review is from: Konica C2 Digital Camera (Electronics)
Pros: Flash, metal casing, size, LCD, price, macro mode, video recording.
Cons: No external storage media, fixed focus, you have to fiddle with menus to turn flash auto/off, I've heard batteries are drained quickly, but I haven't had it long enough to notice, no sound on video, you press your nose agaist the LCD when using the optical viewfinder.
Image quality: The resolution is ok (I almost never use more than 1280*960 on my "real" camera anyway) but images often turn out a little grainy and quite blurry. Colors seem ok, but some pictures benefits from Auto Levels in Photoshop. Using high resolution and then reducing the image size using photo editing software increases quality. There is some color fringing, but images are seldom sharp enough to notice. Jpeg compression is done well and I haven't noticed any artifacts in pictures regardless of quality setting.
Conclusion: I think this is a great camera, because I need a small and inexpensive camera that I can bring everywhere - that's exactly what the Konica Revio C2 is!

Konica Revio C2 Digital Camera, 7 Jan 2004
This review is from: Konica C2 Digital Camera (Electronics)
Very Good Digital Camera overall but it has no carry case, not very instructed on how to save images to PC and it drains the batterys in about a hour, SO TURN IT OFF!!
Very Lightweight(aparently it weighs the equvilent of three tomato's), Looks good with a silver shiney design and it is a very small and compacked.
I'd say the Konica Revio C2 is a very good digital camera for all those people that want a little 007 spy cam with the cheapness and the best quality you are going to get for it's size.
