I needed to upgrade to OS X Lion and therefore needed 2 GB of RAM on my Macbook, so I found this RAM for a good price and having researched the seller (simply out of not having heard of them) I didn't find much. Because of the price I risked it and it paid off. It arrived the morning after it was dispatched and came well packaged. Both modules were installed within 10 minutes mainly due to my oversized fingers not being able to operate the mini screwdriver for the inside of the macbook. If you havent installed anything like this before there are plenty of videos on the web about it for specific models of laptops. Now I've all my apple products linked on the iCloud thanks to this great product.

Bought these with the hope of upgrading my Toshiba satellite L350-171 to 8GB.
Tried every conceivable way of fitting but to no avail.
Updated all the software and running Windows 7 64bit so should be able to use 8gb.
The only way it would recognize the memory was if I fitted one 4gb stick at a time along with an original 2gb stick.
It then showed 6gb in the system which actually gave a lower result in the benchmark test.
Putting both 4gb sticks in resulted in it only seeing one of them and no improvement to the system benchmark.
I am about to returned them for a refund but thought I ought to just place this warning for other Toshiba users.
It is quite clear that the memory works just fine as both stick did register, they are just not compatible with my system.

Brought for my macbook early 2008. Fitted within 5minutes. Works very well.i have download an app which shows my memory use so i can see how more memory helps.
I did not use the full 8 gb as the macbook can not handle it. I used 1 to get 5gb
