Reason for buying:
I decided to buy this product because I felt that my digestive issues and bloating might be related to lactose intolerance and Casein sensitivity. The product is Award Winning (Free From Food Awards 2013, Plant Milk Category).

Taste / What to eat it with?:
This milk tastes delicious on its own. It's tastes nutty, coconut-y and refreshing. I had it mainly with my cereal and protein shakes, It can also be used as a direct replacement to milk when making sweet or savoury food. However It is much more noticeable in smoothies and coffee.

This is a great milk alternative to those who are seeking non-dairy / lactose-free diets, or just for those looking for a good coconut milk brand.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:
It kind of looks like watery milk. It's not as thick and creamy as milk is.

WHAT IT TASTES LIKE:
- Subtly sweet
- Very subtle and pleasant taste of coconut.
- Some similarity in flavour to rice milk, only with a coconutty twist

WHAT I DO WITH IT:
- How I use it for Baking: I like using this in baking to replace milk in recipes for cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
- How I use it in Cooking: I make a lovely coconut and turmeric vegetables dish that uses this coconut milk for the sauce, and I also made a great Indian coconut chickpea soup with this which came out lovely.

Excellent alternative to cows milk, is more creamy than Almond milk - very nice in cereal, etc and on its own.

When I started drinking coconut milk (from koko) I was shocked that I was paying around 2.20 euros for something that only contains around 9% of coconut milk. I decided to search the supermarkets and found another brand ( Go Tan Coconut Milk, cardbox with 75% coconut and 25% water with no preservatives). To maintain the caloric amount from Koko (around 30 kcal/100ml), I just add around 125ml from go tan to a liter of water. It has less sugars, tastes more like coconut, while maintaining the same caloric content! Also, it costs you half of what you pay for a liter of koko milk!!

i was not sure about these small cartons, but they have been great as i now have no waste, the large cartons are too big for one person. Good if your not into drinking much, just for an occasional, drink and cereal
