Format:DVD
I now have all five seasons and Like season 4 this final seasons Picture Quality is the same, so I would recommended this boxset, But I have just recived season 2 form the U.S. on SHOUT factory and check out my review. On this season however the first episode has lots of white flics which must be dust and the odd line form a scracked/scrached negative so this must have come form the coped master video tape from the studio but that dos not last long, other then that this Final season is superb, the colours are clear and don`t bleed and the focus is very good, I don`t think this has been remasted but it has had something done. The problem with 35mm film is if its not looked after it rots but the film is copyed to a master video tape 2.1/4inch. (I think) for broadcasting, (this is proberly whats been used) but again that to will rot if its not looked after so thats is where Digital remastering comes in, this is what I understand from a few years back some film and Audio tapes have to be baked to a very high degree inorder to restore them, LED ZEPPLIN did this some years back to there ROYAL ABERT HALL CONCERT from the 1970s and that show is fab. All the episode on this final sesaon 5 are very good and well worth buying, hope this is of help to every one who's a KOJAK fan. ENJOY
