This is exactly as pictured and does the job very well. It's easy to slip on, secure once in position and gives a reassuring grip and protection to my new Zi8. My one disappointment is the lack of hole for the speaker! There's a "mic" hole, so recording is unaffected, but to hear audio playback necessitates sliding off this otherwise perfect case.
I have two choices: try to create a hole and risk making a mess of the case, or put up with it. Guess I put up with it.
Such a pity :(. Still, for protection and grip it's excellent, so I'm really glad I bought it.

Purchased about 9 months ago and very satisfied, it protects the casing! A further development I would welcome is a flap to protect screen when not in use. Otherwise does exactly what it says on the tin!

This fit's the camera well. It's pretty good quality rubber and leaves gaps for all the buttons and for the SDHC card slot. It's easy to put on and remove so I'm pleased with it.

Nice feel - good addition for Zi8
This slips on easily - although a bit fiddly to thread the lanyard cord through the bottom hole. It feels good, more reassuring to hold than the shiny camera itself. Read more
