Kodak Gripping tripod review

I got this offbrand gorrilapod with my Kodak Zx5 bundle. I decided to give it its own review because it is really good. Comparing it to the name brand gorrilapod it is just as good. It is stiff enough to handle almost anywhere. I take alot of fishing videos and it is really sturdy. I have also put it on the dash of my car and it stayed in one spot for a 45 road trip. I also like the removing the top part of it. after a month it does lose a little stiffness, but not enough that it dosent work. I even managed to mount a canon T3I on it (wide stance on flat surface). Overall nice little peice of equipment that is worth the money. I would buy another and reccomend to a friend.

Not suited for moving applications

Nice product, but I bought it to attach the camera to a moving object (car, boat). The top swivel is not very rigid and the camera always moves around. So not useful when you want to use it in an unstable environment
