I bought this camera and was using with a 2GB SD card which can do up to 16 min of HD video or 500+ pictuers at 12MP.
The HD video are briliant and very good quality 720p
I recently decided to get another card and was not sure about which one to get, until I decided to go for a micro sdhc 8Gb. first I was worry that it would not work but when I tried it it works fine.
I am using the 8GB micro sdhc card using a SD adapter (normal adapter not an sdhc which came with a 2gb micro sd card that I have) with my Kodak Digital Camera V1233 and it works fine.
The 8GB card gives me about an hour of HD recording but for some reason the camera only shows 16min. But at least as I record is still showing 16min, so my guess is that it will not change from 16min until I record more than 45min.
With the 8GB it shows that it can take more than 2000 pictures at 12MP so that is very good.
Only thing to bare in mind is that the 8GB micro sdhc card will not work in a normal card reader. So you will have to use the camera to see the files in your computer or a shdc compatible adpater.
Overall the camera is great very good quality. I am giving it 4 stars because it does not do videos in 1080p. But the 720p videos are still fantastic and much better quality than my normal camcorder.
For a digitial camera this does the job in a very good way and works as a casual camcorder.
The colours are brilliant and the quality of the pictures are excellent at 12MP.
It also has a laser which is very nice when everything is dark so you know where you are pointing to.
