5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic beginners digital camera 21 Nov 2008
First of all, if you are looking to be appearing in magazines all over the world with fantastic art pictures, this isn't the camera for you. However, if you want to be taking family photos, pets, trips, parties etc then keep on reading.

At first glance the camera is beautifully styled with good size proportions for all size hands. The LCD and button set up is good, all with in reach of the user when taking photos. The build quality of the camera is excellent with well formed joins and no loose bits. Nothing rattles either which is always a bonus!

The LCD picture is of good quality allowing you to shoot-from-the-hip pictures easily while those more detailed shots can be lined up with no problem from the view finder.

The picture quality is fantastic for the cost. You get a good sense of colour and saturation on the standard mode. You also get a good contrast in each image shot.

Transferring images again is made simple by Kodaks easy share software. Plug the camera in and follow the on screen instructions. For the more advanced user the camera can also be accessed just like a memory stick allowing drag-and-drop file manipulation.

By far this is one of the best start cameras I have seen in a while and at the cost makes it a phenominal buy.

I would find it hard to say anythign negative about this camera, so, I won't!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little cheap camera 2 May 2009
By desmond
Great little cheap camera, whack in an SD card and your good to go, takes surprisingly decent video with nice sound quality, not a "top-end" camera by far, but i only use it to capture snapshots of nights out.

its nice and compact too!

2.0 out of 5 stars Frustrating Little Camera 12 July 2011
I have had this camera for 2 years and have now replaced the offending camera. When it works it is an excellent camera and takes fantastic pictures but when it is bad it make you want to break it into little pieces. It keeps saying that that there is no memory card or that the memory card needs formatted.Other time sit will state that the memory card is full but on checking it has 2700 photgraphs still available. Even switching off several times this message will still appear and can be frustrating especially as you want to use it. However when it does work it the picture quality is superb and it is apleasure to use. It also easy to use with the PC.
The memory card was Kodak and has worked with other cameras
