Well, got this printer to replace an ageing and tired old Canon. I was impressed with the spec, and especially the promise of cheaper ink cartridges - a feature Kodak is pushing keenly at the moment.
At home, everything connected, and seemed initially to work fine. Until I noticed two things:
* the black ink cartridge was draining VERY quickly
* the wi-fi connection was VERY flakey
The second problem is the most irritating - the thing constantly drops the connection, and I have to restart it every time I need to print something out (this seems to hook it back on the network again).
On reflection, I probably regret getting this printer - its too hi-maintenance to be able to work seamlessly with everything else. I use it for my work, so can't be getting up and restarting each time I need a document. I AM technically literate, and have set up home networks in the past. This beast has beaten me.
Oh, and the black cartridge prints around 20-30 sheets. Maybe this is how Kodak get around the cheap cartridges - we just end up buying more :)
UPDATE: December 2010 - continuing problems with wireless connection. This printer is clearly a waste of money, and I recommend anyone considering a wireless printer to avoid this one :) [hence downgrading rating to 1 star]
UPDATE 2: February 2011 - do not buy this printer. Expensive (though Kodak claim cheap cartridges, the black ink one lasts a MAXIMUM of 20 sheets - and that's it), flawed software (warnings that catridges are empty when they obviously aren't) and continuing wi-fi connection problems.
Avoid.
