Got this to save money, cannon pixma to expensive to run. So far picture and text print is good. No it is not going to going to give the same quality as my pixma but it does give me the ability to print whenever I need to without worrying about cost. Chuck in a fax and scanner even fun 3d software this is amazing value. Probably because of its Kodak heritage photo quality is first class.

I saw this AIO printer, scanner, copier, and fax on the web, and I have been hassling Kodak to know when stocks would be released in the UK. My old Lexmark decided it didn't like Windows & and I was using a wireless link via a laptop to print anything.
I have a lower grade model of Kodak AIO at the office which prints, scans and copies. Thsi uses "10" inks and they last as long as other cartridges but cost a fraction. This 2170 use "30" cartridges which seem the same low cost.
Set up. I generally shudder when I open the box of new technology. This comes with a picture guide which is pretty much all you need!
It was a challenge connecting to the wi-fi as the 2170 defaulted to upper case and my password is lower case. After a frustrating 15 minutes the penny dropped and it connected. Unless I have missed something, if you swtich it off, you have to re-enter the password.
It is a great machine, I love it aleady!
