It’s simple to view Facebook albums using a KODAK PULSE : just tell it the names of the accounts you want it to check and it will automatically refresh the photos it displays whenever new ones are added.

It’s like receiving an unexpected gift, every time you touch “Play Now” on the touch screen after you receive notice that new pictures have automatically been sent to your PULSE display and are ready for viewing.

The photo frame with its own email address

You don’t even need a computer to send photos to a KODAK PULSE: once you’ve selected your favourite snaps, just email photos from your smartphone to the frames unique email address, and they’ll get a message to say new snaps have arrived. A mere touch of the screen later, and they’ll be enjoying photos of your skiing trip before you’ve even got back to the chalet.

It’s that simple. And with 512 MB of internal memory you can store upto 4,000 pictures (actual storage capacity will vary based on picture content.)

Comment on a photo

With so many new photos popping on screen, wouldn’t it be great to send some comments back to the sender. The new Quick Comment feature allows you to communicate directly with picture senders – without the need for you to log onto Facebook via a computer. Choose from 12 popular messages on the touchscreen display. For example, choose “LOL” and it will appear as a comment on a FACEBOOK picture, or be sent as an e-mail to the picture sender.

Once you visit www.kodakpulse.com, create a free online account (that’s as easy as creating a hotmail account—enter name, email address, and password); then enter the display’s 12-character code that appears on the display’s touch screen. The code is also printed on the package so you can activate the display without even opening the box—a great gift giving feature.

Easy to stay up to date

For a more traditional way of uploading photos the KODAK PULSE works with all common memory cards SD, SDHC, xD, MMC, MS, MSPro, MSPro Duo and even USB sticks. You can also customize your display, set up transition times, slideshow styles, and create picture playlists that you can choose right from the touchscreen.

Ultra low power consumption

KODAK PULSE Digital Frames are ENERGY STAR® qualified. The new energy-saving activity sensors turn the frame on when light and sound are detected in the room. When low levels of light or sound are detected, the sensors turn off the frame. You can disable activity sensors if you prefer.

Another great money saving feature of KODAK PULSE is the Energy Saving Time Settings. Rather than leaving the frame on for long periods, the frame allows you to manually set specific time periods to turn on or off. For example set the frame to turn itself on at 8AM in the morning and off at 10PM at night. Both of these settings are fully programmable when you go to your www.kodakpulse.com account.

Simple to use touch screen controls

Once PULSE is setup, it will run and update on “auto-pilot”, but if you’d like to change your viewing experience that’s easy to do using the full touch screen to access the following options:

1. Play start or resume a slide show
2. Collage start a revolving five-picture slide show
3. Information view picture information
4. Delete remove pictures from the frame
5. Rotate rotate the displayed picture 90' clockwise
6. Transition Time change the display duration and transition type
7. Quick Comment send a comment to the originator when pictures arrive from FACEBOOK or email
8. Copy (not shown) copies pictures from a memory card or USB device into your frame’s internal memory
9. Picture sources view pictures in internal memory by friends or playlists; or view pictures on memory card or USB Device
10. Previous/Next view the previous/next picture
11. Health Check check/fix your network connection. This only appears if there is a network connection problem.
