Six more episodes from the award-winning CBeebies series set in the Australian outback, based around the central characters of the Koala Brothers, Frank and Buster, Ned the wombat and Mitzi the possum. In 'Archie's New Home', Archie wonders why only Frank and Buster have turned up at his housewarming party. He invited everyone - didn't he? In 'Alice Can't Remember', the Koala brothers try to help Alice improve her memory by giving her a remembering string - but it isn't long before she's forgotten where she put it. 'What Mitzi Wants' sees Mitzi trying to raise the money to buy a carousel from Sammy's shop that she has set her heart on. In 'Sammy's Bumpy Ride', Sammy enlists the help of Frank and Buster to help him build a railway so that he can live out his dream of becoming a train driver. 'Ned Finds the Policeman' sees Ned deciding to become a policeman after finding a whistle at the roadside. Finally, in 'Penny Comes to Stay', Buster is trying to get his house in order before the arrival of his special friend Penny.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!!! 30 April 2006
By Andy
Various stories about Frank and Buster the Koala Brothers. They live in the Australian outback and always take daily flights in their 2 seater plane to look for others who may need help. And they always knock over their letterbox when they drive the plane out of their gate.

It is superbly animated. It has lots of lovely characters, such as Archie the crocodile and Ned. It's one of those very sweet and innocent children's programmes that any parent would approve of. And excellently complimented by the highly likeable radio DJ Jonathan Coleman, who is the narrator.

If you're looking for a good DVD for your kids, you won't be disappointed with this.

Great DVD for kids, has excellent animation and the figures are top quality that look smooth and realistic. The stories are well told with humourous bits perfect for young kids. The colours are bright and cheerful with good sounds and shots.
Great as a gift but best for age groups 1-6.
well worth a watch

A great series for kids, the stories are well told by Jono Coleman. In each episode one of the Koala Brothers friends needs help or gets into trouble and everyone chips in to help them out also in each episode there's a moral usually about being helpful and friendly. I love the fact that although the characters live as adults they still enjoy skipping or the ice cream van and the fact the plane knocks over the post box everytime it goes through the gate. The animation is great for young kids with lots of bright colours and simplistic characters. Great entertainment for pre schoolers.
