About the Author
Mandy Baggot is a chicklit/contemporary romantic fiction author based near Salisbury, Wiltshire. Her first novel Excess All Areas was published in 2008 and tells the story of size 20 heroine Freya and Hollywood film star Nicholas Kaden.
Breaking the Ice was published in 2010 and this novel is set around an ice skating show. Box office assistant Samantha struggles to deal with panic attacks in her pursuit of gorgeous yet flawed professional skater Jimmy Lloyd.
2011 saw the publication of Knowing Me Knowing You. Lawyer Kate and male escort Joel are forced to take part in a relationship contest but will their roleplay turn into reality?

Kate Baxter is finding life a struggle both financially and emotionally. Eight months ago her husband Matthew walked out on her and their young toddler daughter Bethan. Not wanting the responsibility of being a husband or a father and cruelly claiming it was not what he ever wanted and that he was pushed into it.
Finding making ends meet hard she has returned to work at a firm of solicitors as a legal executive. When Kate finds she needs a date for a work function. Kate employs the services of a male escort service to accompany her to the work function. The escort turns out to be the handsome and gorgeous ex model Joel Brown.
Finding they have been set up by one of Kate's work colleagues to enter into a televised competition called Knowing Me Knowing You which is like Mr &Mrs and having no choice but to enter they find themselves somehow through to the next round in the competition.
When Kate finds out that the winning price is 100,000 pounds. Kate knows having that sort of money behind her would be the answers to all her problems. Especially now Matthew is refusing to pay any contribution towards Bethan. Kate sees this has her chance to be financially secure and she will not have to depend on anyone financially anymore.
There is only one problem to Kate's plan. Can she convince escort Joel to enter the rest of the competition with her when she can not afford to pay his escort fees and she needs to keep most of the prize money for herself?
Knowing me Knowing You is another great love story from Mandy Baggot. You can't help cheering Kate on from the start of the story wanting and willing her to change the desperate situation she has found herself in. This is a romantic feel good read that's got an excellent storyline, great humour, and a superb cast of characters. You can count on Mandy Baggot's books for an entertaining and enjoyable read.

The story is fun, well-written and moves along quickly - though of course entirely predictable! :-) Sadly, I found the central character a highly unlikeable person - she is an alcoholic, (which is a danger to her child), and an incredibly negative, self-centred person. Despite the horrors she has had to cope with in the form of her ex-husband and boss, she really could and should have found a better way to be...

I'm a recent arrival to Mandy's books but for me every one so far has been thoroughly entertaining. Knowing Me, Knowing You introduces us to legal executive Kate, a newly divorced single mum. She's had a bit of a battering; her ex is a complete pig and her boss a total bitch. Still Kate battles on, her daughter Bethan being the main focus in her life. There are two supportive friends, her secretary and Hermione who child minds for her. Invited to a dinner dance and having no male partner and decides to hire someone from an on line escort agency. Enter tall dark handsome Joel, who used to be in the army and is now working as an instructor in a fitness centre. Passing him off as her boyfriend should be easy, but then Mandy's in charge of this plot, so you can be sure things will not be going to plan. Kate and Joel find themselves contestants in a game show and successfully complete the first round. So now Kate not only has all her home and work issues to deal with, she is involved in the contest, something which brings her closer to Joel, who she finds herself gradually falling for. Can they win the contest? Is happiness just around the corner for Kate? Well as in all Mandy's novels you know nothing is going to be straightforward and there are plenty more twists and turns to come before you eventually turn the last page!
