This book is an authority on lichen anatomy and lichen identification. It is easy to read and understand. Also recomended is: The Lichen Handbook, by Mason E. Hale.

Format:Spiral-bound

Though the nomenclature is dated this is still the best book available for identifying the more obvious lichens that one is likely to come across in the United States. It is easy to use and amply illustrated.
