Knots Landing is my all time favourite show - this book is brilliant, I couldn't put it down when it arrived and carried on reading through the night.

Not worth the money, but a nice fan indulgence. 24 Jan. 2013

This book seems like quite a vanity project. In fact, many of the early pages are dedications and the like. If you're a fan of the show you'll enjoy the passion and the enthusiasm that the author feels. However, it's very poorly written and doesn't seem to have been edited or proofread at all. It's definitely not worth the $20. My copy also arrived bent.

Poorly Edited, Among Other Things 22 Feb. 2013
By C. Phillips - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The number of grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors in this book made it nearly impossible to finish. Also, for any fan who followed the series and already knows the various story lines and central characters, this book is at best superfluous. If you have a genuine interest in "revisiting" the details of all 344 episodes, there is enough material to be found online for free. If you're purchasing this book believing you will learn anything new about the workings behind the scenes, you are in for a disappointment.

I received a copy of this book as a gift and actually feel somewhat mortified that my friends spent the money. Because of the generous thought, I'm unable to bring myself to give this a one star rating. Arbitrary as these things are, I give it two stars for my friends' generosity and because the book is filled with fun photographs taken during the show's original run.

With sincere apologies to the author, who clearly loves the original show very deeply, I cannot recommend this book. His seemingly endless gushing was over the top and badly in need of tight reins - something which his publishers and editors (if there were indeed any actual editors) failed to provide.

somewhat hard to read 5 Jun. 2013
By volboy81 - Published on Amazon.com

This is a good book as far as recapping all the story lines throughout the years. It reminded me of many things that went on, that I had forgotten about and brought back a lot of memories, but its got so many typographical errors, misspellings and run-on sentences that sometimes its hard to read. Whoever edited it, did a lousy job!

Worth the money, memories, and more!!! 23 July 2013
By Roman - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
While it usually falls on the author when there is a problem, I'd like to say that no one edits the editor and, as such, it has come to the publishers attention (as well as mine) that unbeknownst to us there were some problems with the book. Those issues have been addressed, the book has been re-edited, and is available and hot off the presses.

People have been and are enjoying the book and with opening remarks by Joan Van Ark and Michele Lee, photos, a complete 30 year history, complete coverage of the entire fourteen years along with the reunions, this companion book is a Knots Landing fan's dream collectible.

I thank one and all for their interest and please, enjoy the book because you are a Knots Landing fan, not based upon reviews or critiques. It's for the fans that I wrote this and I put my heart into the project. It's hardly a vanity project and both Knots Landing and Dallas hold special places in my life. I was blessed to attend both 30th anniversary celebrations and most of all, this was a labor of heart that I intended for all fans to enjoy and have for their shelves. There had yet to be a "complete" work re-counting the tale of Knots Landing and if you want something done (the right or even the wrong way at times) in most cases you have to do it yourself. BearManor Media is a fine publisher and no one can predict the few times things will be done wrong. It's a way of keeping track who is doing their best and this re-edit proves that sometimes it's a sad fact of life that things aren't always done the right way on the first try.

Thank you for your time and consideration and enjoy the trip down "memory circle" with Knots Landing Revisited. It was a great show, with a great theme, with great characters, with great performers, and with a rich television history that is still iconic to this day.
