Product Description

The Knork is suitable for many applications where a single utensil would be more convenient than a conventional knife and fork; camping, travelling, people with disabilities, picnics etc. The outer tines of the fork are not sharp to touch but are shaped to provide a good cutting edge when used in a rocking motion. The handle is a good weight and is designed to allow one or two finger pressure when cutting, while also being comfortable when used as a fork. The Knork is made from stainless steel with a polished head and is supplied in retail packaging.

Knork 14 May 2009
I bought the knork for my son who only has the use of his left arm and hand. This is a sturdy piece of cutlery and works very well for one handed use - quite weighty which assists the cutting process - and very well made so looks good on the table!

Life with a Knork 17 Nov 2009
My husband already has a Knork and I purchased a second one for him and another one for a friend. Both my Husband and our friend have suffered from a stroke and have lost the use of their right arms. Having a Knork means they can now cut up their own food and enjoy their food without having to ask somebody to cut it up for them.

The Knork cuts through most foods and has a very comfortable grip and does not cut into your hand as a normal fork tends to do. My husband would recommend the Knork for one handed eating.

I AM SO PLEASED WITH THIS WONDERFUL LITTLE ITEM. MY SISTER WHO RECENTLY SUFFERED A STROKE SAYS IT WORKS JUST GREAT. SHE FELT AWKWARD AND EMBARRASSED TO EAT OUT AS SHE HAD TO HAVE HER FOOD CUT UP BY SOMEONE ELS. NOW SHE IS HAPPY TO JOIN EVERYONE WHEN WE VISIT A RESTAURANT OR CAFE. SHE HAS HER INDEPENDENCE WHEN SHE HAS HER KNORK.
