I brought this book after looking for a hobby to entertain me when my small baby was in bed. Not having tried knitting before this book was wonderful. It showed me how to get to grips with the basics with clear and concise drawings of every step. It also has great features like hits and tips and warnings along the way to help you achieve perfect knitting.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone, especially someone who hasn't had any exposure to knitting before.

Basic Commodity 29 May 2006

Format:Paperback
This book is simply great. It is like a diccionary, very handy when you find an instruction in a patern that you never heard before, there is all the chances it will be in here (and it will be easy to find). The ilustrations are not great, but it is very well writen and easy to understand. A basic in any knitting kit.
