I have finally found the book that is still in print. I am from New Zealand, and it cannot be sourced anywhere here. I then went to amazon.com and the book is also out of print there as well. I didn't know amazon.co.uk existed. Thank goodness I scrolled. This is an excellent book and my daughter loves the twin dolls that I have made so far. Definitely a book worth purchasing and our local library will probably be glad to have the book back!

At present I have this book on loan from a friend and am so impressed that I am hoping that you will be able to get a copy for me. This particular area of craft work (Knitted Toys) is hard to find. This book gives excellent photographs and easy to follow instructions that even I a beginner can understand.

Such a choice of fun toys to make. Clear, easy to follow instructions with diagrams and colour photos. I bought one for myself and have now bought 2 more to give to friends. Knitting fans - you will love it!!!!

If you are a keen knitter and enjoy making toys this is a must to add to your pattern library. If you never have made such toys, I recommend this book, and any other Jean Greenhowe patterns to get you started - instructions are clear and toys imaginative. I have had a copy of this book for many many years and mislaid it after I had received some requests for particular toys - ordered another and then, the day after the new one arrived, found the first one! Sod's Law. However, I'd rather have two than none.

Super book - whilst some of the toys are a little old fashioned they are very quaint and ideal projects for children and adults alike to knit. Book was great value at 0.01p - although used it was in good condition and delivered promptly......can't wait to get started. Easy instructions to understand - ideal for both beginners or seasoned professionals.

I have owned this book for about 30 years and recently bought another copy for a friend. I have knitted many of the toys from it, all with great success. Any of Jean Greenhowe's patterns work very well and are greatly enhanced by her little finishing touches. I have made many toys from her other books too.

Good clear instructions will give you great results at many different soft toys: dress-up dolls, humpty-dumpty, clown, scarecrow, snow white, plus little animals. I bought this back in the 80s and would just say that now it feels a bit old fashioned and not very inspiring, compared with some of the books published since then
