Product Description

A Medieval Knight resurrects to fulfill his vow and bestow a blood-thirst vengeance upon the kindred spirits of those who betrayed him long ago. In the course of one night, identities will be revealed, destinies met, and a poetic justice of the macabre maniacally served. The stage is set for retribution as an eclectic group is lured to a secluded EUROPEAN CASTLE under the guise of a promised fantasy getaway weekend. And as they read from an obscure storybook, a nefarious tale of avarice is reenacted for their entertainment. However, they are unaware that they are the cursed and have been gathered for their own personal and befitting executions. Modern day vengeance steeped in a medieval tale of avarice, this one of a kind Indy film is an edgy whirlwind of gripping horror, drama, action, mystery and suspense...interlaced with just the right amount of (disturbing) dark humor.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadful 24 May 2013
There is not many things to say about this dreadful production. The synopsis and images on the cover sold it to me, but it soon became the worst film I have ever watched. I could not actually compete this movie. I was expecting a medieval period action movie, after the first few minutes of medieval action, the film suddenly switched to present day? from there it just went down hill, with flash backs to medieval periods to present day. The story is just awful, I cant describe this here as It will take too long. This is purely the fact that the story just kept jumping, was disjointed, dreadful acting, etc.. really bad production.

1.0 out of 5 stars Knights Templar 30 Dec 2013
By Babs
Absolutely awful, a complete disappointment. What a strange looking bunch of people!! Not sure if I was supposed to laugh or not, kind of reminded me of Tales of the Unexpected type of production just with a really bad story line. Do not buy this, you will regret it.

Acorn Antiques with swords . At least Acorn Antiques was trying to be awful. It was excruciatingly grim, hide behind the sofa embarrassing.

1.0 out of 5 stars Ermmmm 6 July 2012
What can I say.. Not at all what I was expecting! Not even true to even the remotest of facts!!
You couldn't even call it a B movie. Disappointing acting, scenery & storyline.
Started off good for about 5 mins & then just went plain bizarre!
Did I get the wrong movie?? Yep!

1.0 out of 5 stars my eyes hurt 14 Jan 2014
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
To say this film is appalling would be unfair as I have not watched it to the end. To be honest I bought it after a small confusion with a film called Knight Templar, which actually has a similar cover. Anyways, despite doubts on the storyline, of which I had read a synopsis, I still went with it...
Nevermind the fact that the main character looks like a barbie doll and is a dreadful actor (as are most of the other actors I saw 20 min in), the cinematography actually made me want to hit my head against the wall. Think cheap 80s tv series. But worse.
And I won't even mention the cheap unsubtle set design.
16 minutes in I decided to keep watching a bit as I suddenly figured "hey, maybe it's all *meant* to be a joke?! The ridiculous actors, the terrible filming, flat dialogues, costumes straight out of a high school play and disturbingly bad sound design... But if it was meant to be a parody, it would have been made a bit more obvious. I think.
At 19 minutes I decided to keep watching maybe a tad longer as Norman Reedus came in. Probably the only convincing 30seconds of acting so far. But then I remembered, this is from 2010, he probably still didn't have too much public coverage at that point, and was still making those terrible career decisions... So even he didn't give me much hope. I gave up at 21 minutes.
If you are as brave as I am you may get a bit further. If you don't feel like being brave tonight then do yourself a favour and don't even think of watching this.

1.0 out of 5 stars pants 21 Aug 2012
I have an avid interest in this subject. So I didn't mind paying 10 for it. What a waste of money. This must rank as the worst film I have ever seen. Embarrasingly bad. What was Carradine thinking of. Save your money and buy a book or something worthwhile. By the way, I'm giving it no stars because it doesn't deserve any.

This is a truly awful film and should never have been made. Giving it one star is does not reflect how bad this film really is.
